stuck ...

I've waited much too long to post anything. I am waiting no longer. I must say, though ... I FEEL STUCK ... I was reminded of something while reading 1 Kings 18, the account of Elijah and the Baal worshipers. In verse 21 Elijah confronts the Baal crowd and asks a question, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." These words remind me that we, too, falter between two opinions ... God's and those silly voices in the head that try to talk us away from following God -- EVERY MOMENT and IN EVERY WAY. Of course, God's way is perfect, honorable, righteous and good. And ours ... well ... you know! Lately I've recommitted myself to early rising, early reading and early prayer. I have found in these times of my life, I am able to war off those opinions in my head and want to -- even desire to follow God's Word fully.
