P.U.S.H.  -  Pray Until Something Happens

 At Creed Life Church, Pastor Pete Robertson and myself have been team teaching since I returned to Florida about 4 weeks ago. The Sunday after Easter, April 8th, I taught on Ephesians 3:14-21. I entitled the message "P1 - Priority One". On more than one occasion, Paul the Apostle spoke of that Priority, namely PRAYER. He was essentially saying, prayer is vital for the life of Christ's Church! Pastor Peter on April 15th taught on Ephesians 4:1-3 emphasizing the "Unity of the Spirit". He said the "P1" was related to the "P.U.S.H."! Yes! PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS! 

 The Word of God is so clear and vivid for us today. That's why Creed emphasizes verse by verse teaching of the Scriptures. PUSH became a vital facet for Team Tremblay this past month as we waited on the Lord to move in housing and job transfer from Arizona to Florida. It took 30 days but on that day SOMETHING HAPPENED! For 30 days we were allowed to use a home here in Kissimmee. We moved out on day 30 but also received word that the job transfer went through! So now we continue in our Prayer P.U.S.H. as we are again in temporary housing. The job is 70 miles from here and about an hour and a half one way. We have to find housing there and the way to get our stored belongings to the home once it's in place. Faithful God has it all in check and so we PUSH on. Revelation - A Bible Book Often Avoided

MMB 7-1-2024 I have an app on my phone that reminds me of my daily Scripture reading so I can complete reading the Bible in one year. That completion date for me was yesterday June 30, 2024. The app I use suggests three chapters a day except for Sunday which is five chapter readings. I completed an inspiring read through the Book of Revelation yesterday. Many avoid Revelation because of its many "Sevens" that appear confusing. Seven Angels, Seven Bowls, Seven trumpets, Seven Scrolls ... they're there. Then there are descriptions of certain creatures with multiple heads and faces and horns which can shock anyone. But Revelation mostly explains the confusing terms as you read on. You can't give up. You can't fear the terminology. You can't avoid those unknowns because they are soon revealed.  I've decided to re-read the Book. I've done two years of reading through the Bible and I will take a break from that now. But I won't stop reading Scripture. I ...

On Hold - The Finale

Today is July 20th. August is upon us and so is the 6th month of unemployment. Correct. After many applications and about 6-7 interviews I am still without work. I was interviewed twice (two different companies) in person this week and I'm waiting on their call back. Both indicated there must be a second interview with others involved. The last offering (Part 2) eluded to a humbling lesson learned. When I walked out of my last job on February 7th I made a to-myself-statement. Essentially I said I'll never work for this company again. But that was before my first humble pie piece I had to eat. So I put in applications with the company's other stores close by. Also I used a second email address so I wouldn't be tied to the store I worked at. I must have been hungry because I began to eat another piece of that pie. He Who Has An Ear -- MMB 10-21-24

Those words in the title come from Revelation 2 and 3 as John writes Jesus' words to the seven churches. Except for a very few, most of us have two ears. Jesus simply says, "he who has an ear let him hear...". Sadly, at times we shut out hearing the Lord, or tune in to things other than the Lord, or even replace hearing Him with hearing our enemy.  Psalm 112:7-9 NLT: "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them" "They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly" "Their good deeds will be remembered forever" "They will have influence and honor"   Psalm 112 illustrates what our ears need to hear from the Almighty. First, confidently trust the Lord. That means without waivering. He cares for us so why seek anything else? Just throw yourself in His care alone. Second, confidently and fearlessly remain in Him.
